In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, we remain as diligent as ever in protecting the health and safety of our patients and staff by going above and beyond the safety protocols. Dr. Pannu, Dr. Dilmaghani, and our entire team follow procedures recommended by several federal agencies: the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Here are just some of the practices we use to ensure the safety of our patients:

  • Reducing capacity of patients in the reception area

  • Requiring masks for all patients in the office and providing masks for those who do not have one

  • Checking the temperature of patients and staff

  • Wearing additional layers of personal protective gear

  • Using hospital-grade disinfectants

  • Enacting social distancing protocols throughout the office for patients

  • Practicing the latest sterilization protocols issued by the CDC and ADA

  • Utilizing single-use disposable materials

  • Employing plexiglass shield guards at the reception desk

  • Sterilizing all reusable equipment, including dental hand pieces with an autoclave, a device that kills bacteria and viruses by steam, heat, and pressure

The best defense against disease is information. The more you know, the better equipped you are to make wise decisions about your health care. The more you know about our daily procedures and policies, the more comfortable you will feel. Please feel free to discuss this topic with Dr. Pannu or Dr. Dilmaghani and receive a straightforward answer.
